Meeting Update
Our meeting this week started with an info session for the parents. Parent Survival Folders were given out and we talked about some of the fun planned so far.
Inside the Folders you'll find:
- Parent's Welcome Letter
- Parent Handbook
- Uniform Order Form
- All About Me for your Girl Scout to fill out
- Information about how you can help the troop
- Health History Form
- Photo Media Release
- Permission Slip to participate in product sales
- Adult Volunteer Packet
- Financial Aid Forms to help with Uniform and Registration costs
- Calendar of Activities for September and October
See? Lots of information! If you couldn't make the meeting last night, no worries! Just let me know and I'll get you the hookup.
After the parent meeting, the girls introduced themselves. We had THREE NEW GIRLS at the meeting last night! Awesome. So introductions were done.
Following that, the Friendship Circle.
And then we went outside because the girls were crazy-hyped-up from the excitement of a new school year.
We did "the human knot," and a relay race. Here is the winning relay team!
