Greetings!Yesterday the girls finished up their Bug Badge. Whew, I'm glad that's over - I don't like bugs! But the girls really enjoyed it and we all learned so much about the insect world!

For the Girl Scouts who weren't able to make it to the Bug meetings for the Bug Badge, here are the requirements to do it at home. This must be completed within the next 2 weeks (by the meeting on August 10th) for your Girl Scout to get credit for the badge. Then have a parent/adult and the Girl Scout fill out and sign the Badge Make-up Form and bring it in to the next meeting. (Click here for the Badge Make-up Form.)Requirements for the Bug Badge
1. Catch a bug in a container. Observe the bug.2. Click on this link to get the form to fill out about the bug (return the form to the Girl Scout Leader).
3. Print this Insect Word Search (click here), complete and return to the Leader.
